Who we are

MCM was founded in 2006 by Dr Charles McCombie, Professor Neil Chapman and Dr. Ian McKinley.  The three partners already had many year’s experience working together on international projects in radioactive waste management and an extensive shared network of contacts worldwide.

In 2011, the scale of MCM projects meant that the partners and their other associates needed additional and permanent support, and MCM employed its first staff in that year, opening its UK office in Bristol.

On 1st May 2016, a new UK domiciled company, MCM Environmental Services Ltd, began operations, trading under the name MCM. All ongoing contracts and project work for UK clients transferred to the new UK company to ensure that there was no disruption or inconvenience to existing clients.

Ally Clark, Ellie Scourse and Tara Beattie, as owners and Directors of MCM Environmental Services Ltd, assumed all administration and management responsibilities. The Founding Partners of MCM, Charles McCombie, Neil Chapman and Ian McKinley,  continue to provide support to the new company in the capacity of associates.
